The story of Eirini started as that of an orphaned baby left outside a temple of Alaxus. Her parents, seemingly not having even left some kind of note or name for this baby, were never known or discovered. Seeing her, the temple would soon adopt the young child and name her Eirini. While never having any real connection towards her biological parents, she couldn’t help but feel a tinge of sadness about the idea that she was abandoned, even at such a young age. Regardless of her feelings on the matter, she found herself slowly coming to terms with the matter as time went on and her obligations to the temple grew.
Even at a young age, she found time to learn about and read about the topic of theology. Though her interests at first naturally focused on the tales and legends of Alaxus, she would soon expand her focus to those of other gods. This effort would catch the attention of not only her peers but also that of her superiors, who were impressed by her library of knowledge. Time, of course, kept passing, and Eirini soon found herself growing older, yet still maintained the same passion for the theological.
Focusing more on history, Eirini would now find herself focused on learning more about the founding of Endring and the revolutionary movement that brought about the current theocratic state. Given the vast knowledge lost during that period, she would be enamored by the possibilities of uncovering what was lost and learning more about the Uprising, which brought about Endring. While not having many resources to her disposal, she still managed to yet again impress others with her ability and determination in learning more about and researching this now ancient period of history via both primary and secondary sources. Seeing an opportunity for her to grow as a historian, and for the temple to be seen as a home for intellectual minds, her temple would make the decision to have Eirini work for The Archive. Given the opportunity to finally learn more about what was lost, she would accept with little hesitation.
