A brief summary of your aims for this Downtime, in terms of both research and plot.

Travel to Mayton Greynes, to

• Collect the surviving myths I've heard hints may exist (research)
• Try and identify and meet Starlight02 (plot)

What steps will you take? What items are you using? What are your backup plans, in case this goes wrong?

• Travel on foot. This is a long way, and will take quite some time, but I don't think I can get the authorisation for a helicopter – and I might hear some interesting stories en route!
• Meet up with Chris in Mayton Greynes. He'll show me where the stories are, and he also probably knows more about Starlight02 than me…
• Keep in touch with Starlight02 as I travel, to keep on top of the state of the revolution and see if I can glean any new information about her.
• When in Mayton Greynes, follow local lead, and help out however I can. If I get any chance to meet Starlight02, I'll take it.

What's your motivation? Is this emotionally resonant in some way, or purely practical? Are you fully committed, or have you got doubts?

• My friend Chris has asked for my help, saying that the movement needs all the people it can get.
• I sympathise with Starlight02, and want to help her take down the monarchy. The people of Mayton Greynes deserve their freedom and their stories!
• If I take records now, I can ensure that the last surviving traces of myth aren't completely obliterated.

• Do those myths actually exist? Not sure. This could go interestingly either way…
• There's some interesting cognitive dissonance between zir desire to act against authoritarian regimes and the fact that ze's doing this by taking records to the Archive… I don't know if ze's at all aware of the irony yet, though.

How different is the way the people of Endring work now from their Nemean heritage? They pray and create and find pieces of prayers and pots from the past buried under the sands; they claim there's been revolution, tell horror stories of a different, distant past, but aren't they, at heart, people too? Alir wants to learn more about this past by immersing himself in it; he'll pray to Alaxus and speak to Kleiops, make pottery, look for pottery, try his best to tease out the strands.

Maybe he'll have something to show the Archive at the end of it all; maybe this is just to quiet his own mind. Either way, it's still worthwhile.
