What are they looking to get out of the Archive’s repertoire?

An amateur entomologist, Lorne seeks to take advantage of the Archive’s international records to compare the bugs found in the jungles of Yuu with those from other rainforest areas around the world.

Does the place they’re from lend itself to their research (or not)?

If she wasn’t stumbling over remains requiring an archaeological team to be called in every five seconds, Lorne would say that Yuu was the perfect place to work. As it is… it isn’t bad, they suppose. It’s got bugs.

Lorne strikes most who meet them as a quiet, focused researcher, with most conversations inevitably veering onto the topic of bugs. Although they have few clear friends, she doesn’t make enemies easily, either. In person, he’s rarely alone — there’s usually at least one creepy-crawly climbing all over her.

Nemeus is beautiful, with its forests and gods, its seas and sands. Lorne has always thought this, and always wanted others to see it, too. Most do — but not all. The Port City of X grows and grows, and cables for internet are springing up everywhere.

They hate it.

Most of all, she wants Mayton Greynes and its technological travesties gone.

But Lorne can’t change the world alone, not even with a whole army of bugs by his side. He’s hoping she’ll find friends and support across the world by joining the Archive — but if they don’t, then they’re prepared to get… forceful.

What are they looking to get out of the Archive’s repertoire?

With Mayton Greynes’ competitive edge in engineering, the Archive has been taking notes. Mina hopes to gain access to blueprint reproductions under the guise of developing new forms of clean energy.

Does the place they’re from lend itself to their research (or not)?

A young woman in her mid-20s, Mina is working on a fellowship with the Archive in the hopes of compiling existing information on blueprints for state-of-the-art Greynesian technology. Raised in the Temple of Blessed Air, she has made it her goal to assist her nation in developing competitive reproductions of automations from MG. For the price of under-the-table funding from Endring, the Archive is happy to acquiesce and provide an upstart young scholar a launch pad towards an ambitious career…

For all she believes her work is important, Mina knows the gods are watching her steps. She won’t get anything done unless Liria wills it…

Mina is a cheerful young engineer living and working in Mayton Greynes. Delighted to have escaped the stifling networks of temples and prayer, she keeps her Endringian background no secret.

Ambitious, intelligent and hardworking, Mina Naproxus would do anything for her country and her home.

Anything.

Including leaving it all behind, to work as a double agent for as long as it takes to succeed.

The superficiality of the Archive and the secularity of Mayton Greynes infuriate her, but they have what she needs and so she will put up with it. She will paint on a smile and go to work developing stealing blueprints, and it will all be worth it in the end. She’s prominent in Archive meetings, hoping that if people know and trust her, they will give her more information.

But underneath it all is a deep homesickness and a longing for the comforts of her home and of her god.
